Marriage Seminar in Dar es Salaam
On 9th December 2021 FDM hosted a one-day marriage seminar in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. Requested by our local partners in Tanzania, the seminar was initially planned for about 100 participants but many more signed up for the event.
In the end, over 200 people attended the seminar, mainly pastors and their spouses from Dar es Salaam and the surrounding areas. The seminar was very well received with many praising the Biblical insight into the importance and purpose of marriage. More seminars and conferences like this would be a great encouragement to pastors and believers in Tanzania, who often struggle with lack of resources for Christian education and discipleship.
The impact of this seminar is still felt today. Our pastors continue to disciple couples whom they met at the conference. One couple has been together for more than 10 years with three children – through the seminar they finally understood the significance of marriage and decided to consecrate their marriage in the church and live according to God’s purposes.
