Marriage Conference in Cabaiguán, Cuba
On 5th February 2022, FDM Cuba, held a one-day marriage conference in the city of Cabaiguán. The conference was taught by Pastor William, FDM’s regional director in Cuba. 24 people attended the conference and this intimate setting was perfect for participants to delve deeply into the Word as they reflected on teachings on marriage and the church. There was much prayer around the situation in Cuba – this is an especially challenging time for churches as Cuban lawmakers plan to implement the new family code which allows for same-sex marriages.
The conference was a good time of worship, fellowship, teaching and prayer. The pastors who attended were especially encouraged to bring back what they have learned along with the workbooks they received to their churches. They were very blessed to receive vision and tools to begin to disciple the marriages in their congregation. We pray that God’s Word will continue to bear fruit in the lives of our brothers and sisters in Cuba. Please keep pastor William and his family in your prayers – even though the Devil has been bringing much destruction to Cuba, the work of the Lord Jesus is still happening!
