Discipleship Training Missions Across Uganda
I greet you in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. My name is Rev. Dr. Letema Laizer, and I am honored to share with you the progress and impact of our recent discipleship mission in Uganda.
Over the past months, we have conducted a series of transformative training sessions across multiple regions including Eastern Uganda—covering Kayunga Town, Kamuli, Iganga, Ikanda, Irundu, and Budaka—as well as the West Nile region, where we held three trainings in Paida Town, Nebbi, and Gulu. In the Western Region, we reached Mubende , Kansheshero, Kanugu and finally, we launched our last mission in Central Kampala downtown.

In total, we established 14 training centers where we trained over 800 participants, comprising pastors, deacons, and church leaders. We praise God for His amazing grace throughout this journey, which involved extensive travel—some sessions required daily commutes of 4 to 8 hours between cities and regions. This undertaking was truly a life sacrifice and a risk taken for the sake of Christ, who is infinitely more precious than any hardship endured.
The core focus of our one-day trainings at all centers was grounded in discipleship, vision and strategy, and the foundational truths of Christianity. We centered our teachings on the Great Commission as found in Matthew 28:19-20, emphasizing the essence of a disciple’s life and principles, identifying major hindrances to disciple-making, and highlighting the most effective Biblical strategies for nurturing disciples. These teachings have proven highly productive, with numerous testimonies from pastors who expressed how the training enlightened and transformed their lives. They are committed to applying this knowledge to impact others, encouraging them to emulate Christ and become disciple-makers themselves.

We invite you to join us in prayer and partnership so that the ripple effect of this mission continues to advance the Kingdom of God across Uganda and beyond.
In Christ’s service,
Rev. Dr. Letema Laizer
