A new quarter at FDM Institute

As this new year gets underway I can’t help but be excited as well as humbled and amazed about the work that God is doing through our online training institute, Family Discipleship Ministries Institute (FDMI). Last year we successfully completed our very first quarter of classes in November (all FDMI courses are offered in 8 week segments or quarters as we call them). Instructors from India, Mexico, and Tanzania taught our Discipleship Takes Vision and Strategy (DVS) course and out of the 100 students enrolled in the DVS course, 76 students successfully completed the course and received certificates of completion from FDMI. Of the students who received certificates of completion, 36 are from India, 13 are from Africa, and 27 are from Mexico and Cuba.

Congratulations FDMI students!

Our second quarter starts in February and along with the DVS course we are additionally offering the Christian Foundational Truths (CFT) course to all students who successfully completed the DVS course. The CFT course is aimed at educating and training all students in the essential teachings of the Christian faith. The goal is not only for students to learn these basic Christian doctrines for themselves but also to become better equipped to disciple other believers in learning them. The instructors we have lined up for this second quarter will be teaching students in India, Mexico, Tanzania, and now Bangladesh. At present tally the Lord has brought us over 120 students who are enrolled in classes for this upcoming quarter.

By God’s grace the seeds we are sowing now will reap a harvest unto the Lord. Please pray for the Lord to be glorified through these international outreach efforts, and bring a revival of discipleship in these and many other countries.
