Testimony of Rajkumar Sharma

My name is Rajkumar Sharma from the village of North Sultanpur, PO: Kaharol, District: Dinajpur. In my 32 years of marriage, I led my family very strictly as an authoritarian husband. I always made decisions for my wife and children without considering their feelings. To me, my wife was like a servant, expected to obey without question, and I never valued her input or treated her with respect. This harsh attitude led to constant fighting, bitterness, and anger in our family, resulting in a lack of peace for over three decades.

Since 2010, I have been involved with Pastor Benjamin, the national leader and president of the Foursquare Gospel Church in Bangladesh. I received training and was recognized as a local pastor, which led me to start planting churches in nearby districts. However, in 2016 Pastor Benjamin left the Foursquare church to start family-based church planting, emphasizing discipleship as outlined in Matthew 28:18-20. In 2020, he reintroduced us to training through FDM.world’s materials (DVS & CFT), which were so different, transformative and much more impactful compared to my previous training.

The DVS & CFT programs brought significant changes to my understanding of Christian beliefs. I realized the mistakes in how I led my family and began applying what I learned to my life. The MIAM classes further opened my eyes to the true value of my wife as a blessing from God. As I changed my approach, I started to respect my wife, engage in discussions about our family, and improve our communication. We have now peace and happiness in family. No more fighting or bitterness, we respect each other. Our children are now happy to see us and our family bond is now stronger than before. All our relationship were restored, bringing peace and happiness to our household, which was noticed by our neighbors.

Our neighbors began asking how we achieved such happiness, and I shared about the DVS, CFT, and MIAM training. Our discussions often lead to deeper conversations about experiencing God’s love. I hope and pray that others in our community will also find this joy and come to know Jesus as their savior. My family and I are profoundly grateful to FDM.world for the impactful teachings and materials that have changed our lives.
